Craft Reorganized

I reorganized my craft room today. It started out as just straightening up to get to my table so I could sew a special order. I got carried away and here are the results. I now have room to store my finished items. The nice thing is we already had this shelving unit in our basement so I was able to repurpose it.

How many things did I sew?

Besides all the sewing I have been doing for Thursdays on 1st I also altered a bunch of dance costumes for Elizabeth's dance teacher. Here is one of the costumes I made for some little boys.

Here are some of my favorite skirts I sewed for this summer. I only sewed about 40 skirts, 20 messenger bags 100's of hair flowers, 9 capes and 20 appliqued shirts :)

Here are a couple of my favorite messenger bags.

I will have to get pictures of some of my appliqued shirts and onsies later.

Sewing Frenzy!

I just started Thursday's on 1st Street this month. It is basically a craft show with all handmade items every Thursday during the summer. My friend and I have a booth. This year I got really into it and sewed like crazy. My house of course was a wreck but at least all the sewing helped me stay sane :)
Here's a picture of some of the stuff I've made:

I've made about 9 reversible capes and sold all but 2 of them in the 2 weeks I have been out there.
This is a Frozen cape:

I also made Superman/Batman capes.
I had a blast designing princess skirts. Here is one of the Frozen skirts I made:

My girls had fun modeling the skirts!

This is a Little Mermaid inspired skirt. (When Ariel wears the pink dress).
 Ariel
 Snow White
 Cinderella

I designed and made a Belle skirt but didn't snap a picture of it before I sold it. I will be making more though. I have lots more princess skirts I have designed on paper but I haven't had time to make all of them.

Easter Decorations

I had a lot of fun creating all of these fun Easter decorations. I used my Silhouette to create all of these projects. I am in love with the print and cut feature on my Silhouette. It makes things go together much quicker. I am so ready for spring. Maybe if I keep these decorations up spring will come sooner. I am so tired of looking at snow!

I use my Silhouette to cut out the applique for this pillow. I also used my Silhouette to cut the words out of White sparkle heat transfer material.

Princess Book

I used my Silhouette Cameo to create this fun print and cut book. I dressed it up by adding jewels and making raised stickers. I used shapes that were already print and cut to make it easier.

Random Sewing Projects

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the appliques for this wall hanging I made for my craft room.

I made this car seat cover for a friend.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the appliques for this Monster shirt and stuffed animal.

St. Patrick's Day Decorations

I had fun making St. Patrick's Day decorations with my Silhouette Cameo. I made cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day and we had a fun scavenger hunt.

Reversible Holiday Blocks

I had fun making these reversible holiday blocks. I used my Silhouette Cameo to create a print and cut file and cut out the papers and then modge podged them onto blocks. I made 2 sets, one with six blocks and one with 9 blocks. There are 4 words on each set. I left the top and bottom empty so they would look nicer.
